CHASE E. COREY

CHASE E. COREY began his legal career as an officer in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps. While stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky, Mr. Corey served simultaneously as a Special Victim Trial Counsel and a Special Assistant United States Attorney. As a Special Victim Trial Counsel, Mr. Corey prosecuted Soldiers accused of violent or sexual crimes. As a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky, he led a team of three lawyers in the federal litigation of criminal offenses committed on military property. After his time at Fort Knox, Mr. Corey was hand-selected to be a member of the Army’s first class of Special Trial Counsel, chosen specifically to litigate sensitive cases involving crimes such as rape, murder, and child abuse. Assigned to the 3d Infantry Division, Mr. Corey served as the primary litigator for congressionally mandated “covered offenses” committed by Soldiers stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia.

As the son of a U.S. Navy nurse-midwife, Mr. Corey grew up all over the world, but was raised primarily in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Corey received his B.S. in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida and his J.D. from William & Mary Law School. He exited the military in 2025 and became an associate at Estes, Ingram, Foels, & Gibbs, where he shifted his focus to the defense of healthcare professionals.
